How does the old mesh curtain detach from the rod? How do the rings on this new one go onto the rod? Does the rod have to be removed to do this? If so, how does it come out?
    1 Answer
Usually, the rods overlap in the very center of the fireplace and are held in place by some sort of fastener or clamping mechanism. The clamping mechanism must be released, which will allow you to remove each center end of the rod and slide the old screens off. You can then slide the new screens into position on each rod and clamp the rods in position again.

    Fireplace Mesh Curtain
Needed a curtain for electric fireplace (to disguise plexiglas reflector), this worked perfectly.

Mesh curtain is good quality with small handles to slide open and close. Very satisfied with purchase.

The product was exactly what was shown and easy to install.
The product was exactly what was shown and easy to install. The screen is much easier to use than a bulky mobile screen that sets in front of the fireplace that must be moved every time you add a log.
