Stayed Warm During Power Outage
I was so thankful for this stove when we had the power go out for a week in below freezing weather here in Virginia a couple winters ago. It uses quite a bit of coal to keep the entire 2500 square foot house warm, so I keep the door to my garage closed when I am not working in there. The stove is very efficient, though, and with some bigger coal it will keep burning overnight for 10-12 hours. I also close the bottom door and open the spin dial. Customer service is great with this company. When I contacted them about failed blower motors after the warranty had lapsed, they still sent two new ones at no charge! These blowers had been improved with a new design. I will stand behind a company that stands behind its products like that!

Saving Money on the Heat Bill
This stove burns coal and meets all of my needs. Initially it was easy to install and I've been running it for over five years and have had no problems. I like that you can empty the ashes while it is in use and has good heat transfer.

Staying Warm
Even in below freezing temperatures I am staying nice and warm for up to ten hours on a single load! My home is approximately 2,000 sq/ft and this coal furnace is doing better than anything I've used before.
