You are correct about the ceiling support box. If you have a flat ceiling in a relatively short room (8' - 9' ceiling), I'd recommend our round ceiling support box. In either case, you will also need a slip connector to connect the single wall stove pipe to the support box. The chimney pipe needs no adaptor as it will twist-lock right into the top side of the support box. After connecting to the support box, the chimney pipe will need to immediately pass through an attic insulation shield as it enters the attic space. Beyond that you will simply need a roof flashing and storm collar on top of the shingles and a cap to tie it all off. Your roof pitch will determine which flashing you'll use and how much chimney pipe you will need above the shingles.
