If I am going to vent this DV55SPP wall heater outside will I need a venting kit with a vinyl siding?
    1 Answers
This unit will ship with the horizontal vent kit as part of the assembly. For vinyl siding applications, the Empire Vinyl Siding Kit - For DVVK4RE Vent Kit - DV-822 should also be used.

I am wanting to buy a gas wall furnace which will send fan blown heat to both sides of the wall. What options do you have if the furnace is to fit between 16" wall studs?
    1 Answers
Yes, Empire also makes a dual-wall furnace that can be installed in a 2" x 4" wall, with studs 16" center-to-center. Please see it below: Empire GWT50 Gravity-Vented Dual Wall Furnace - Propane *There is also a natural gas model available. You can add two separate blowers to force heated air into both rooms. Please see the blower here: Empire GWTB2 Automatic Gas Furnace Blower

i have this furnace (Empire wall furnace model dv55ip) and it had a power cord that i cant seem to find (it was a relatives) i was wondering if the 3 wires black white and green that are coming out of the metal box at the bottom are for power? they have a plastic connector that i think the old power cord connected to. (not sure) can i splice those wires if they are for power and run 12/2 directly to it instead of using a power cord?

Those three wires are indeed for power. Hardwiring 12/2 from these wires to a power supply is a fine repair.
