Does this fireplace come with a brick liner? The picture shows a liner but from the description, I am not sure.
By Collin C. - NFI Master Hearth Professional on May 3, 2012
Answer:The brick liner is indeed an optional feature for this unit. The fireplace will come with a matte black inner surround that can be used without the brick, if you so desire.
The brick liner for this unit can be purchased separately in the accessories tab on the item page.

Is the picture of this Empire Vail BTU vent-free propane fireplace an accurate representation of the flame for a 10,000 BTU propane unit?
By eFireplaceStore on November 18, 2015
Answer:This unit is available in 10K and 20K BTU variations, with the photo shown being the 20K version. The 10K version is limited in flame presentation, with the flame reaching only about 1/2 of an inch above the logs.

I already have the mantle and surround, all I need is the logs to replace the ones I already have. Is this possible?
By Collin C. - NFI Master Hearth Professional on September 5, 2012
Answer:In order to determine the correct log set for your needs, you will first need the model number and serial number of your fireplace. This information is located on the metal build plate that is included with the unit.

I need a 18, 19, or 20" see-thru natural gas log set for a bedroom fireplace. I need less than 10,000 BTU.
By Collin C. - NFI Master Hearth Professional on October 2, 2012
Answer:My apologizes, but we do not carry a see-thru, vent free log set that can be used in a bedroom. The sets offered by the manufacturers we carry are all standard BTU output models of 32,000 or more.

How many square feet will this fireplace heat?
By Tyler M. - NFI Certified Specialist on July 2, 2013
Answer:This unit's 10,000 BTU burner will heat approximately 275 square feet. This model is also available with a 20,000 BTU burner, which of course will heat about twice that area.
