What comes with this unit? For example, the liner? Is there a variable speed blower kit on the unit? Does the logs come with this?

Answer:The entire Breckenridge line will be a vent free firebox only. A vent free log set of appropriate size must be added. This particular model does come with a herringbone liner as standard, but a blower is not available on the Breckenridge Select line, as they do not have provisions for one to be installed.

I searched for our gas fireplace, ECS model VFS36FB2DF, and got the Breckenridge site because you have a unit with the same identifier. I wondered if it was the same unit? If not, sorry for the questions. Is there a remote system that can be installed to operate the fireplace instead of the manual switch we currently use? Is the lighting system you advertise also capable of being operated remotely?

Answer:This does indeed seem to be the same unit, as ECS stands for Empire Comfort Systems.
This Breckenridge model is a firebox only, without a log system installed. You may choose to install any brand of vent free logs in the system, however Empire recommends their products be used.
Do you happen to have any manufacturer information on the logs/burner that are installed into your firebox? The gas valve that is installed on your log burner will determine if the system is indeed remote ready. Please advise.

Do you have this Empire Breckenridge firebox and liner available with the Banded Brick liner?
