I am looking for a trim kit that will surround my fireplace. I already have a mantle attached above the fireplace. I am looking for a cheaper option. It is a Martin Model SF42A. Do you have something like this?
By Will M. on June 28, 2016
Answer:No optional trim kits will be available for this fireplace. I recommend having something fabricated locally.

Is there a face trim that can be used with the Majestic DVRT 36?
By Collin C. - NFI Master Hearth Professional on February 12, 2014
Answer:My apologizes, but the trim kits for the DVRT36 are no longer available from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, the company declared bankruptcy and was reorganized in 2009. When that happened, many parts for units produced before 2009 were discontinued and not offered again when the company restructured. A custom trim kit would need to be made by a local metal fabricator.

I am looking for vented louvers for VFB32.

I have a Majestic 43BDVR that has damaged upper and lower louvres. Do you have any alternatives that I can use to replace the damaged ones I have? It appears to be 43".
By Collin C. - NFI Master Hearth Professional on April 29, 2013
Answer:Parts for this unit have indeed been discontinued. The 43BDVR was manufactured by the CFM Corporation, which owned Majestic up until 2008, when they declared bankruptcy. The product line was not picked up by the new owner of Majestic.
Unfortunately, we do not offer a louver assembly that is the correct size or configuration that could be used in place of the current assembly. My recommendation would be to take the current louvers to a local sheet metal fabricator to see if they can be repaired or new louvers made, using the current ones as a template. I apologize that we can no longer procure these parts.

We have recently installed a Heat 'n' Glo gas fireplace insert. Unfortunately, the surrounding tile was not placed close enough in to the unit (we were given the wrong measurement by the installer), such that about a 1/4 to a 1/2 inch gap needs to be corrected between the end of the tile and the unit itself. The front is the Chateau Forge design offered by Heat 'n' Glo.
My question to you: Do you offer some trim (already assembled and not just a kit) that could be inserted behind the front of the unit so as to conceal that gap?

I want to change out the brass colored trim channels on my Martin fireplace glass door kit, model WBV-42. I've tried painting it black before but it didn't take. What would you suggest to do to paint this properly?
By Will M. on December 9, 2015
Answer:As parts are no longer available for this fireplace, the best solution may be to change your painting method. When painting brass trim, you should mix a 50/50 water and vinegar solution and clean the surface prior to sanding with 1200 grit sandpaper for the paint to adhere.

My fireplace is a Majestic Vermont Castings model BHDT36RN. I am looking to update it with a stainless steel decorative face trim. Is there a universal product that will fit? Inside measure is 32 3/4" by 32 3/4".
By Collin C. - NFI Master Hearth Professional on November 23, 2012
Answer:Unfortunately, we do not offer a truly universal product that can be used to fit this unit. Upon searching, it would also appear that the manufacturer did not offer such an accessory for this unit. A few of our customers have had custom surrounds fabricated by local sheet metal shops or have cut down surrounds for other models.

I have bifold glass doors with brass trim. I would like to change the trim if possible to black. What are my options?
By Collin C. - NFI Master Hearth Professional on July 22, 2013
Answer:Because the door rails are usually not sold separately from the glass, you will have only the options of painting the door rail or replacing the entire door assembly. Brass can be painted with high temperature paint, but time must be taken to rough up the surface of the rail and then wipe it down thoroughly.
If you would like to explore the option of replacing the doors, I will need to know the manufacturer name and model number of the fireplace. Please advise at your convenience.

I need a universal trim kit (black, nickel, stainless) to fit 42"w x 36"h.
By Collin C. - NFI Master Hearth Professional on January 21, 2014
Answer:Unfortunately, the trim kits we stock are manufacturer specific components that are only designed to fit certain brands that we carry.
