- Side inlet valve is rated for temperatures up to 300º and 90,000 BTUs
- Can use either natural gas or propane - includes a 70LPK natural gas to propane conversion kit
If you want a kit that can do everything, then you want the Copreci Safety Pilot Kit. This kit is for gas log sets with a 3/8" female and male thread. The side inlet valve is rated for temperatures up to 300 degrees F and can handle 90,000 generated BTUs. This kit can be used with either a natural gas or propane tank and it even includes a 70LPK natural gas to propane conversion kit. Can this valve be turned over and hooked up to the left side of the burner? Unfortunately, my valve, at present looks similar and is at the left of the fireplace, unlilke most.
It can indeed be installed on the left side of a burner.
