How do I light the pilot for GSTF 36?

    By Brennan W. on December 7, 2016

The GSTF 36 is a firebox, so the instructions for lighting the pilot will depend on the log set. If you could, please provide the manufacturer and model number of your log set and I will be happy to locate lighting instructions.

Both of these items have been recently discontinued by the manufacturer, however they are still in stock at our warehouse. The items can be seen on our webpage at the following links: Majestic Textured Black Manor Rectangular Front with Lower Door Control. Monessen Black 32 Inch Cabinet Doors with Screen. Please keep in mind that the door frame will also be needed to attach the doors to the rectangular front. This item can be seen here: Monessen Black 32 Inch Cabinet Door Frame.

I have a STR36 2 sided designer fireplace. Is it possible to close off 1 side of this unit?
By eFireplaceStore on February 18, 2015

Unfortunately, no. The unit is designed and listed to pull cooling air from both openings. As such, closing off one side could lead to a dangerous overheat situation, exposing the framing around the unit to higher temperatures than they can stand.
