Although this unit does look very good once it is installed, that installation should definitely not be underestimated. After a professional started the install (after multiple times reading the instructions), he needed to work almost ten hours to actually complete the job (not exactly the cheapest option). The directions state that the unit must be six inches deep into the wall in order to line up with the wall evenly, but once we actually got the wall open, we found an iron pipe. He had already built a frame for the unit before cutting into the wall, so much of his time was dedicated to making a completely new frame for the unit. After all of these installation issues were over, it turned out that we had a broken remote. Also, the fact that you have to completely remove the unit from the wall to replace a light bulb is a design oversight.
