Will this Wizard creosote removal assembly with 14-inc loop assembly and 2 inch TLC starter rod work on 8x12 tile flues as well?

I need a tool that will break up glazed creosote in a terra cotta chimney liner and go about 6 to 8 feet long. I have chimney brushes and poles but they don't seem to work and this tool seems like what I need. I don't know what this attaches to between it and a drill.

This tool is indeed the product you would need to break up heavy creosote. The included starter rod would attach to your drill. Because this item uses torque lock connectors, a particular rod must be used. The Rutland 1/4-Inch x 60-Inch Steel Rod for 1/2-Inch Drills
would be the correct item for your needs.

I have a 12x12 masonry flue in my chimney. What size of wizard creosote remover do I need?
By eFireplaceStore on December 23, 2014
Answer:Per the manufacturer, the 14 inch wizard would be the ideal size for removing stage 3 creosote in a 12 x 12 masonry flue.
