The Osborn 2000 insert offers a happy medium between the freestanding firebox model and a built-in home fireplace. This model OB02011 can be combined with a faceplate which can cover masonry that measures up to 32 inches high and 50 inches wide (must be purchased separately) in order to create a seamless fit into your current fireplace space. The Osborn 2000 is a high-efficiency EPA certified appliance. Its premium quality CFM 120 blower efficiently pumps heat into an area that measures up to 2100 square feet. The firebox itself features refractory bricks, a stainless-steel secondary-air system, high heat-resistant C-cast baffle, and a glass air-wash system. Available in metallic black.

Tax Credit Eligibility: Consumers who purchase a qualifying biomass (wood or pellet-burning) appliance are eligible for a $300 tax credit through an extension of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. This unit is eligible for this credit; this model has a thermal efficiency rating of at least 75%. If you have purchased or are planning to purchase and install any of these models from January 1, 2015 (retroactive) until December 31, 2016, you can complete the IRS Form 5695 and include your sales receipt and file it with your tax return to earn the $300 credit.

    Customer Questions & Answers
By Allan from Chestertown, MD on September 15, 2016
My house is just over 2000 sq. ft.. Will the Osborn 2000 be large enough or should we go with the 2400 and will there be a shipping charge also?
    By Chris C. on September 16, 2016

    Answer:
The Osburn 2000 has been tested to be capable of heating up to 2100 square feet, but this is on its highest burn setting. For a space of 2000 square feet, I believe that you would be much more pleased with the larger Osburn 2400 as it will not be close to exceeding its heating capacity to heat your home. The 2400 carrying a larger firebox allows for longer burn times as well to decrease the time reloading the stove. Shipping within the contiguous 48 States carries no shipping charges, and being outside the state of Tennessee, there is also no sales tax to be charged.

What are the actual dimensions of this Osburn 2000 high-efficiency woodburning insert? What are the actual dimensions in inches of the firebox and how far back is the flue?
    By Brennan W. on November 18, 2015

    Answer:
The full dimensions of the insert are 26.5" deep, 25 5/8" wide without the faceplate, and 23 1/8" high without the faceplate. The faceplate dimensions will be dependent on the faceplate chosen at the time of purchase.

I am interested in The Osburn 2000. Can you recommend a local installer for this product?
By eFireplaceStore on October 17, 2016

    Answer:
While we do specialize in technical support for our items, I'm afraid that we cannot assist with a local installer, as we are an online presence only. I apologize for the inconvenience. Many of our past customers have had great success working with a handyman service or reputable home improvement contractor.
