I am replacing a Superior Model DR-500CMN. I would like to replace it with the DRC2033 contemporary. Is this the correct size and do I need to tear out all of the old system or will the new one fit in the same box?
I am replacing a Superior Model DR-500CMN. I would like to replace it with the DRC2033 contemporary. Is this the correct size and do I need to tear out all of the old system or will the new one fit in the same box?
You would have to remove the existing fireplace in its entirety to install the fireplace of your choosing, however, the DRC2033 would fit within the existing framed cavity once the DR-500 model is removed.
