Superior has thought of everything and even offers full insulation on select models and fan kits for circulating models. With merchandise this comprehensive, you can't go wrong.

Venting Requirements: This item requires a chimney with 8" inner diameter.

Please Note: Fully insulated fireboxes feature an additional layer of ceramic insulation, as well as the standard air space. They are recommended for installations against an outside wall or in an exterior chase enclosure, as they provide superior protection against cold air intrusion into the room when the fireplace is not in use.

Also Note: This model is a direct replacement to the previously available Vantage Hearth Value Line Series 42" Non-Circulating Smooth Faced Wood Burning Fireplace with Full Insulation VB42I1.
