Our Price Match Policy
If you find a product on a competitor's website where their total price with shipping and sales tax is lower than our total price, we will gladly beat it by 10% of the difference in price!
The product(s) must have a verifiable online advertised price. This offer is not valid with the use of any coupon from eFireplaceStore. This policy excludes closeouts, liquidations, store specific coupons or rebates, and clearance items. eFireplaceStore will not price match orders placed previously or already received. We do not match local stores or ads, local pick-ups, auction sites (e.g. ebay), or wholesale club prices in which there is a fee to join, such as BJ's Wholesale, Costco Wholesale, & Sam's Club Wholesale. The competitor must have the item in stock and available for immediate shipping to qualify. We must be able to calculate their total with shipping and sales tax on their website—we will not call them for special quotes on items or freight and will not price match to an email quote.
We understand and share your concern about security and privacy. It is reassuring to know that it is statistically safer to use your credit card on the web than to use it in a store or restaurant. The information that you provide when placing an order with us (e.g. your name, address, and credit card information) is secure. It cannot be read or tampered with during transmission.
Our checkout process uses industry standard TLS (Transport Layer Security) technology to encrypt and scramble all personal information including your name, address, and credit card information so that it may not be read by others as it travels over the Internet. TLS encryption is employed during checkout when the URL in browsers, such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, changes from "http" to "https". The "s" indicates that you are in a secure area. Your browser may also show a pop-up window when you are here.
For your security, we authorize your credit card after we obtain confirmation that your card is a valid number and has not been reported lost or stolen. We also verify that the "Bill To" address matches the address on the credit card used. It is not uncommon for a request for credit card authorization to fail at times. We will contact you if we experience such difficulties and you may wish to provide another credit card.
Email is not encrypted so please do not transmit your credit card number via e-mail.
Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, the maximum amount that your bank can require you pay for any fraudulent charge on your credit card is up to $50. Notify your credit card company immediately should you ever suspect a fraudulent charge on your credit card as you would for any other unauthorized charge.

Can the liner be used for an 8-inch wood stovepipe?
Flexible stainless steel pipe cannot be used outside of a masonry enclosure in place of rigid stove pipe. Stainless steel rigid liner and stainless stove pipe, such as Dura Black SS series, can be used as stove pipe.

Denis F.from Northern VT asked:
Would a 5" SS liner have the ability to fit through an 8"x12" and bend 90 degrees through a 6" opening?
The liner should have no problem going down the chimney opening. However, it will not make the 90-degree bend. It will require the use of a tee with takeoff to be installed, such as the Duraflex SS Tee w/ Clamp.

Gary F.from Exeter, NH asked:
If the chimney already has a chimney cap, does the new flexible flue liner need a rain cap installed as well?
There is no general answer to your question. As the standard covering liners (UL 1777) is a performance standard, meaning it does specify an approach, the specific product's installation instructions must be followed as those instructions represent the only configurations that were tested to and satisfied the UL 1777 safety standard. If a system's instructions do not include a provision for installation without the system cap, the system cap should be used.

Matthewfrom asheville nc asked:
What amount of waste do you have with liners, for example, if I buy a 25 ft liner and only use 23ft I figure 2 ft is waste that can't be used, correct?
Yes, that would be correct. The extra two feet would be waste since UL1777 liners need to be one continuous liner that is common.

I want to run the liner up an existing open fireplace. The exhaust on the stove is 3 inches, and the run to the top of the chimney is between 20-25 feet. What size insulated liner do I need?
For that long a run I would expand to a 4 inch ID pipe.

Kenneth K.from Calabash, NC asked:
Can I use a chimney liner rated for gas to vent a pellet stove?
No, but there are exceptions as some vent systems approved for use with direct vent gas fireplaces are also safety tested for use with pellet systems that are also approved for direct venting. If you are wanting to use common type B (B Vent) or UL441 listed venting, you would not be able to use this material for a pellet stove. Without knowing further details, you will always want to use UL641 listed type L venting with a pellet stove.

Do I need insulation around your chimney liners?
It is always recommended to insulate the chimney liner to ensure less creosote build up, hotter flue temperatures, and to maintain the UL listing of the liner itself.

Can you put a liner in a triple wall metal chimney?
Certainly. As long as the triple wall chimney is in good condition, it can house a liner to size down the flue for an insert or stove.

You may have a chimney liner if you have a masonry fireplace or a fireplace insert. Chimney liners protect the inside of older chimneys from the damage of time. A chimney liner kit may be constructed of a few different materials, but the stainless steel chimney liner is probably the most common. Specific fireplaces have specific needs for their chimney liners. If you have any questions about a chimney liner for your fireplace, please ask one of our NFI-certified technicians!
