What is the total rise with this snorkel? Is it equivalent to using two 90 degree elbows with a 3 foot pipe, or is it less?

The total height of the snorkel termination cap is 49.5 inches. If you use two 45 degree elbows with a 48 inch piece between them the rise would be 46 3/8 inches. If you use two 60 degree elbows with a 60 inch piece between them the rise would be 41 inches. There are no 90 degree elbows.
