I have a Monessen Eyf18 and purchased a (14d0468) propane control valve. After installation, the pilot won't stay lit when releasing the pilot button. I suspect I need a thermocouple, but I'm unsure which one.
For a vent-free burner, you will need to replace the entire pilot assembly/ODS, not just the thermocouple. If you can provide the part number of the pilot/ODS from your manual, along with a shipping zip code, we can check availability and pricing for you.

What thread size fits into the gas valve?
Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not provide the thread size or pitch for the pilot assembly. It is only designed to fit specific model of SIT valves carried by HPC.
