Can this mantel be used outside?

No, this is a real wood mantle. It would deteriorate like any indoor furniture if used outside.

I have a stone fireplace that I would like to install a mantel shelf on. If the stone is not even surface across the fireplace is it possible to install the shelf so it is flush? Any recommendations would be helpful
1 Answer
There are two ways to accomplish this. The first would be to notch the stone to allow the mantle shelf to fit flush. The second would be to remove the stone in the area where the mantle will be installed, then install the stone back to the wall around the mantle.

This product says it does not come with hanging hardware, do you sell that separately?

We do not. The appropriate anchors can be obtained at a hardware store. You will get anchors based on the type of surface on which you are mounting this shelf.
