This is a Real Fyre Variable Flame Remote Ready Pilot System to be used with certain Real Fyre Gas Log Burners. The variable flame remote ready pilot system allows you to control your system using a remote control, wall switch, or the manual knob on the burner system. This system does have variable flame height control to turn the fire up and down.
Remote Control Options For This Pilot Kit:
- None - A remote control will not be provided with this unit. You must provide a remote control that is compatible with this pilot kit in order to operate the set remotely.
- Basic Variable Remote Control (Real Fyre VR1a) - This remote will turn the unit on and off as well as adjust the flame height up and down.
- Deluxe Variable Remote Control (Real Fyre VR2a) - This remote will turn the unit on and off as well as adjust the flame height up and down. This remote also has a room temperature feature and thermostatic control.
- Variable On/Off Wall Switch (Real Fyre WS-3) - This is a wall switch used to turn the unit on and off instead of using a remote control. he Wall Switch will also adjust the flame height up and down.

This kit does ship with an installation guide. You would need this particular variation for propane.

It is only compatible with Real Fyre log sets and fireplaces.

Hello, I am buying the G45-42-SS grate, CHMJ-42 logs but need a remote. The ideal remote would be one that integrates with Control 4 or Alexa. Do you know any way to accomplish this?
Unfortunately, there is no way to connect the remotes for these burner and pilot kits to those or other home control systems.

This item was shipped to be and arrived ahead of the scheduled delivery. We had our plumber install the unit. This unit works great on our fireplace. I was surprised to notice that you have to hold the on button for about 2 seconds for the log set to ignite. All in all, this is a great product.
