These Real Fyre Post Oak gas logs, of course, are backed by Peterson's commitment to using the best manufacturing materials, steel reinforcement rods, and superior surface detail. This is a really great look with unique detail. Real Fyre Post Oak Gas Logs by Peterson are the perfect choice for a distinctive look in any fireplace or home.
This is a set of gas logs only to be used with a Real Fyre vented gas log burner (sold separately). Vented gas logs must be installed in a fully vented wood burning fireplace.
This set of gas logs includes the Gas Logs Only. All other components needed to makes this a functional gas log set (such as Real-Fyre Burner System, Granules, Glowing Embers, grate, grate clips/log locators, pan/connector kit and damper clamp) must be purchased separately or you can purchase a complete set from our Vented Gas Log Set section.
Please Note: Purchase of this log only set does NOT include a burner. Additionally, each set is intended for use exclusively with a Peterson vented burner assembly and is not meant to be used with other types of burners.

Is it safe to leave the pilot on after the gas fireplace burner has been turned off?
Most Real Fyre gas log sets utilize a standing pilot ignition wherein the pilot light must remain lit, so, yes, this is safe. In fact, these are safety pilot systems, meaning that if the pilot is extinguished, the gas valve closes to prevent gas leaks.

Why do I need an extra burner if one is already in place?
If you already have a Peterson burner that these logs fit on then you wouldn't need an extra burner. If you don't, then you would need a new burner.

Beautiful & Realistic Post Oak Logs! (No Burner)
These Real Fyre gas logs look fantastic! The details are very realistic, and they really transformed my fireplace. Make sure you already have a burner system, as this set does not include one.
