Real Fyre 24" Post Oak Vented Gas Logs - No Burner

This set of fireplace logs for our outdoor patio was easy to install and works great. We got the manual start which is easy to operate. We love the look of these logs and the realistic fire.

The log set is very nice and exactly what we wanted.

Real Fyre offers a multitude of well built gas log sets. The installation instruction are nicely detailed and easy to follow. I am replacing an old non-vented gas logs set that was OK, but always looked cheap both in the logs and flames. Plus it was noisy and created a minor odor. My new Real Fyre gas log set looks great and the flames and embers look quite realistic, a much improvement from my original gas logs. I know that I will enjoy these gas logs for a long, long time and the appearance of my installation looks exactly as Real Fire's associate picture!

We received our gas logs and had a friend help install them and they look great! Couldn't be happier. They didn't advertise that they would put off that much heat, but they really warm the room.

It came on time and works as expected. Great set.

They are really good and gives very beautiful flame. However they are too heavy. You will need a proper gas burner to get the best flame.
Do not use them if you have just a gas lighter in the fire place. These logs will turn black.

Arrived well packed and in perfect condition. Very easy installation. Color was darker than advertised but I was glad as the color matched perfectly with the room. Great buy for the money!

Web-site was easy to use and had all the information I needed and more to pick out the gas logs I wanted. Easy ordering and quick shipping in perfect condition. The professional I had install said I had done a good job and it was a quality product and he had no problems. The fireplace looks beautiful and it warms up my small living room. I wanted the logs for alternative heat in case the electric went off and it will do the job. If I change out the ceiling fan to one that will reverse I will get more heat than I do now.

The fire log works very well, looks great too. Had a little bit of trouble connecting to the supply line due to mismatch of connector size. Recommend visiting plumbing supply store for parts.

The logs arrived with 2 broken.. I called, and received the broken logs with no hassle.. They are well made and look great.. well worth the money.. Will recommend and buy again.

Easy to install and the remote start is the coolest thing ever, I also like the way they have holes in a couple of the logs if set up right they give it a more realistic look.

Our logs came in perfect condition,however, after the installer left, I realized there was a large bag of sand and embers that weren't used. I called customer service to inquire how much sand should have been used. Turns out the installer was.wrong in not filling the pan. I have never received such outstanding customer service. Kevin actually went out to the warehouse to send me pictures. Our fireplace is totally realistic, and the gas logs look better than real ones!!!!

Make sure that you keep the logs clean of soot, as it does tend to build up. It has been a great purchase for our home.

After a little while of using this set, we can honestly say that we think we got the best deal possible. Local stores were giving us estimates almost twice as much as what this costs, and we are using a superior set. I would definitely recommend one thing. Get the best burner possible, even if you have to downgrade your set. Our burner burns in between the logs and around them, so it really looks like we have a wood fire in our home. It seems like we are always using this fireplace because we like it so much. I sincerely encourage you to purchase a set like this.

It is pretty amazing how much is included in this set. (I was actually slightly disappointed that I had to go out and get the proper pipe dope to use on a gas line. I wish they gave you that too.) Like everyone else said, it takes almost no time to put it together and get it in the fireplace. It is a very attractive gas log fireplace.

It is amazing how quickly the product came after we ordered it, and it was pristine. Not a piece was missing, and it took less than an hour to assemble and put in the fireplace. It may take a while to get the logs just how you like them, but we actually like the standard configuration the instructions provide. Not only does the configuration give it a real fire look, but the embers add that finishing touch. I also must compliment the manufacturer on the logs. They hold heat for a very long time (we actually only run the fire for a couple of hours and then the logs will radiate for just as long). I couldn't be happier with this set, and think that you will be happy as well.

It is surprising how efficiently this log set will heat the room. As other reviewers have said, it actually does look like a genuine wood fire. Getting it installed was very simple, and it works great.

I was hesitant about buying these logs at first (the cost seemed too good to be true), but after making the plunge I was completely surprised. After some of the fastest cross-country shipping I have ever witnessed (less than a week!), I found the logs to be very sturdy and in pristine condition. We really like the look of the logs. We converted our natural fireplace to the gas logs. In a matter of hours no mess, no going outside to get the logs in the cold. We would 100% do it again

I bought one to convert my last wood burning fireplace and I liked it so much I bought and replaced my other gas Log with another just like it. This is the most realistic looking fire I have ever seen from a gas log and , unlike the one I replaced it sends abundant heat out into the room rather than just going up the flu. If you are looking for a no frills log set than this is the product for you. Even though it is so simple, I can't give the product anything less than a 100%. The level of design and craftsmanship that went into the creation of the logs is amazing. It feels like I could use it for the next thirty years without any problems. That being said, the directions are more guidelines than anything else. They don't really take into account specific circumstances when explaining installation. Sometimes, gas hookups are on the left side, but the directions only describe a right oriented gas hookup. Adding some extra pipe solves this problem, but it would be nice if they told you about it. Also, take special care when bending the aluminum pipe that the instructions indicate you should. It is very easy to crease it, but putting sand inside should help with the shaping.

Product exceeds adv. My only suggestion is to replace solid tubing with a flexible supply line, as sometimes supply becomes difficult to bend to firebox dimensions. I did this and it worked fine.

It operates well, installation was not too complicated, but a little time-consuming, the remote was a nice addition that I would definitely recommend.

The set arrived with so many logs, that we weren't able to fit all of them in one fireplace! Essentially we now have two different gas log sets for the cost of a single unit.
