Share This Item With Friends: Pin It This insert kit is for use with the DuraVent DuraFlex insulation sleeve o meet UL 1777 standard for masonry chimneys and wood-burning appliances. DuraFlex stainless steel insures safe and efficient venting of heating appliances, while protecting the masonry chimney from the damaging effects of flue products. This kit includes a rain cap, collar plate, connector adaptor and is designed for use with wood-burning wood pellet, oil, and wood appliances including fireplace inserts, furnaces, boilers, and water heaters. For gas there is 0-inch clearance to masonry, for pellet and oil applications there is 1-inch clearance to masonry and for wood-burning applications insulation is required for 0-inch clearance to masonry.
