I have an older wood stove that's has an od of 7 3/8". I think it was made to have 7" stove pipe ran from it but now there is only 6 and 8 inch pipe available. I'm planing on running 8" pipe but I need a connector. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Answer:
Though it does not currently appear on our website, we do now offer the 7" DuraBlack stovepipe, so we would be able to get you the appliance adaptor, the pipe and the appropriate transition pieces to class A chimney pipe. Since the items are not on our website, however, you would need to give us a call at 1-800-203-1642 to discuss a potential order and get pricing.

i have 2, 8" stove pipes that meet evenly (ie, they don't slip into each other). Will this work?

Answer:
This component is actually meant to begin a stovepipe installation from the top of the stove itself and would not work for your needs. It will be necessary to reverse the direction of your venting system, crimp the end of one pipe to slide inside the other, or have a custom coupling made for your needs. None of the manufacturers we carry offer a male to male or female to female coupling.
