Yes, you are correct, it is called "clean face" because there are no louvers above and below the glass front.

Kelsey was a big help in ordering. Fireplace is nice and what I expected with the slight exception that the flame is pretty small and weak. If the flame was a little bigger, I would have given it 5 stars.

The fireplace I ordered was exactly as pictured and described. Prior to ordering I had some general questions and their associate was very helpful and well informed about the products.
