Can you paint these a different color with high heat paint?
By Will M. on December 29, 2016
When installed properly into the Empire 36" Studio Luxury Direct Vent fireplace, these panels could most certainly be painted with any 1200 degree stove, grill or firebox paint. We offer these products here.

Is this a 3 panel system, 1 back piece and 2 sides?
By Collin C. - NFI Master Hearth Professional on March 4, 2014
Answer:This is indeed a 3 panel assembly. Please keep in mind that this liner system is designed only to fit the 36 inch Studio Luxury fireplace.

What dimensions are the panels? I was wondering about using it on a Lennox.
By Tyler M. - Fireplace Specialist on February 17, 2012
Answer:Empire does not provide dimensions of their ceramic fiber panels because they are not listed/tested/approved for use in any other fireplace. This particular set is meant for use only in Empire's 36" Studio Luxury Direct Vent Gas Fireplaces.
To check availability for panels for your Lennox, we recommend you contact the manufacturer, as we are not currently a dealer for them.

I have the banded brick liner for a ventless 42 inch fire box. I can see how to set the line in but want to know about how to secure it.
I received 3 metal stampings but no screws. Do the metal retainers go at the top or bottom ?
By Kevin E. - Fireplace Specialist on December 14, 2011
Answer:These brick liners are indeed held in place with brackets at the top of the panels. The back liner will not need this bracket as the side panels secure it in place. The existing screws will be ideal for mounting the retainer bracket.
