*Venting Requirements: This unit requires venting pipe with an inner diameter of 3 Inches. Please see the Venting Components section on this page if available for venting pipe that must be used with this unit. For a steep roof gas vent install, you need a steep roof flashing for the vent. The flashing will weather proof your vent terminal by keeping out rain and moisture. The flashing is preformed to fit right over your three inch vent pipe. The flashing is designed to work on roofs with a 7/12 to 12/12 pitches. The flashing is made from corrosion proof galvalume. The flashing must be nstalled with a separately purchased storm collar |

Can I attach this to the flue pipe?

This is a flashing designed to fit around a 3-inch inside diameter B-vent pipe by DuraVent. It should be secured to the roof but not necessarily attached to the venting.
