Can ashes be removed when the stove is hot if a grate is being used?
The ashes can be removed while the stove is in use, but it is recommended to let the wood burn down and try not to rake large glowing coals into the ash dump. Grates are not recommended to be used in this stove.

Customer service was great! Product was delivered in a timely manner and the product overall looked quality built. Looking forward to hooking it up and seeing how she operates. Did come across a manufacturing error but customer service and representatives took care of the issue right away. Looking forward to working with them in the near future.

Cons
The handle on the door was hitting the frame of the wood stove so the door would not close. I was able to grind a little metal away so the door would close properly. Customer service representatives did take action to help correct the issue.
