Will this Hearth Products Controls BSK blower sensor kit work on my Monessen Blower Model: BLOT? Not sure if this will do the trick, but the blower stopped working and I think the Thermo Sensor is bad. The blower is not coming on so I decided to check the Sensor and it completely fell apart when I checked it, knowing that this activates the blower.
    1 Answer
This is designed as a universal replacement thermal switch for thermostatic blowers. As such, it will work with your BLOT.

Will this blower work on a Dare IV wood stove unit?
    1 Answer
This product can indeed be used with your insert. However, the Dare IV is an old unit and was not designed with such a sensor in mind. You may have to test a couple of locations in order to get the best operation out of the fan.

Assuming the power factor of 0.7, the load would be less than 2 amps and I assume the supplied wire is high temp enough such that the insulation will not melt. Will this item drive two fireplace fans, each rated at 60 watts?
    1 Answer
No, this sensor kit is only meant to be used on a single fireplace blower, such as a conventional squirrel-cage fan.
