Is it possible to install this unit in my open concept living space?

This particular unit is rated for outdoor use only. The reason is because this model does not use a pilot light to heat a thermocouple or flame rod. It only has a spark ignitor and if the main burner flame extinguishes, gas could build up in the home. The indoor version of the same unit is the Superior 43" Linear Vent Free Fireplace - VRL4543ZE. The only difference is that fact that this model has the pilot light for indoor safety and it is manufactured from black galvanized steel, rather than stainless steel.

Makes our beer Awesome!!
The fireplace created a gathering spot both inside and out with its awesome ambiance. Now our craft beer seems to taste so much better while everyone is sitting at the new centerpiece of Paddle Hard Brewing!! Cheers to you guys for an awesome product.
