Is the whole product made out of stainless steel?

While the piping used in the Duratech product line is stainless steel, many of the support brackets are not. This is the case with this particular item. It is constructed primarily of aluminized steel. The product is quite durable and will last for decades in most weather conditions.

Do you carry a support bracket like this for a 12" pipe?

The product that will work is the DuraPlus All-Fuel Extended Roof Support Bracket - For Chimney Pipes with an 8-Inch Inner Diameter. The DuraPlus 8 inch product has an outer wall measuring 12 inches, so this will be a direct fit.

Hi there, I have installed a wood burning stove in which I need a support bracket from the twin wall to my slates, my twin wall is 6" outer diameter , will your bracket be OK for this job ?

This roof support brace is meant to secure a pipe with an outside diameter of 8 inches, and this is our smallest such brace. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Is it necessary or possible to use two of these supports, as one on each side of the chimney?
    1 Answers
It is not always necessary to add numerous roof supports for your chimney installation, however it can be done be staggering the attachment collars on the chimney itself. If you have a chimney height that is going to be more than 10 feet above the roof line or if you have extremely strong winds, you may consider adding the second brace. Otherwise, a single brace should be sufficient for your needs.

    Works
There are no instructions, but it doesn't take long to figure out. This solved my problem.

    Drill a hole
This works great, but the holes in the bracket that bolts to the roof are too small for the supplied bolts. A quick fix with a drill bit and it's fine, but was confusing/frustrating for a bit. Otherwise, good product that fit my needs fine.
