    • Ceramic fiber liner for 36" Keystone Deluxe fireplaces
    • Realistic brown bricks with charcoal mortar
    • Smoked accents
The interior of your fireplace should be designed with as much attention to the right look as the exterior surroundings are. If you want a traditional look, this ceramic fiber liner looks virtually like aged brick that has been set with charcoal colored mortar in a stacked pattern. It even has dark smoked accents that make it look as if it has been through many years of use. The liner fits the 36" Keystone Deluxe fireplace by Empire.

I have a Majestic unit about 30 plus years old. serial # B966588 Model L36A, L36AR, L36AL. The back appears to be a 2" thick ceramic liner. The sides are metal. What would you suggest?

This is indeed a very old unit that parts are no longer manufactured for. You have a couple of options. A pair of the standard 1 inch thick liners, such as the Hargrove Replacement Fireplace Refractory Panel - 24 inch X 28 inch can be cut and stacked on one another to achieve the proper thickness. The unit required the 2 inch thickness of the liner for insulation. The other option is to build a wooden frame that is the size of the liner and use a product such as the Rutland Castable Refractory Fireplace Cement - 25 Pound Tub to pour a custom liner.

The back panel of my refractory has about a half inch crack in it and I do not know what the model or model number is. It's a wood burning fireplace, can you help me? Where would I find the replacement in the Austin area?

We are an online-only retailer with no brick-and-mortar locations, but we do offer some universal refractory panels that will work for any woodburning fireplace. Please see the following links: One 24"h x 28"w Panel Two 24" h x 40"w Panels These panels are about 3/4" thick and can be cut down to the size you need with a masonry blade or tile saw. They are suitable for use as side, rear and floor panels inside any manufactured woodburning fireplace.
