How do you install this liner?
    1 Answers
This liner kit will be shipped with a set of retaining brackets that are used in conjunction with the side panels. First, the rear panel will be placed in position against the back wall of the firebox. Next, you will need to slide the side panels into position against the back panel. The beveled edges on the side panels should be facing forward toward the room. Last, you will need to use the provided retaining brackets, which screw into the ceiling of the fireplace and hold the side panels against the walls.

We have a smaller fireplace and I need to replace the liner. The measurements are roughly 17" x 17" at the sides and the back piece is 19" x 17". Do you have any selections that fit these dimensions, or is this something that we need to have custom made or cut?

If you do not have the manufacturer or model information of your fireplace, then we can offer universal replacement panels. We carry options for both woodburning fireplaces and gas fireplaces. If you have a woodburning fireplace (or a fireplace that originally burned wood but now burns gas), we do offer some universal refractory panels that will work for your woodburning fireplace. Please see the following links: One 24"h x 28"w Panel Two 24" h x 40"w Panels These panels are about 3/4" thick and can be cut down to the size you need with a masonry blade or tile saw. They are suitable for use as side, rear and floor panels inside any manufactured woodburning fireplace. If you have a fireplace that is only listed to burn gas (vent-free, direct vent or B-vent), please see these universal panel options: El Dorado Decorative Brick Firebox Panel Seville Decorative Brick Firebox Panel Florence Decorative Brick Firebox Panel Each of these panels measure 22.5" wide by 19.5" high and they are 1/2" thick. They can be cut to the size(s) you need.

What are the dimensions of this (L x W x Thickness)? I have an old Marco 36" B36CF with a cracked bottom and back panels and I am trying to find replacements. My panels are 1" thick. I can cut the panels to size. What do you suggest?

These panels are not suitable for use with your Marco fireplace, as they are only for select Empire 36" Keystone gas models. However, we do offer some universal refractory panels that will work for your woodburning fireplace. Please see the following links: One 24"h x 28"w Panel Two 24" h x 40"w Panels These panels are about 3/4" thick and can be cut down to the size you need with a masonry blade or tile saw. I have a Colman 36ECM11. My back firewall is broken. Will this work on it for a replacement?

Your Coleman model is a wood burning fireplace and must use the same variety of refractory panels that is came with. These ceramic panels you are viewing are for a gas fireplace only and will not insulate your unit properly. Per the manufacturer, the original back panel is still available if you wish to special order it.

I have a Majestic vented fireplace that is about 30 years old. It has a metal panel screwed to the wall to serve as refractory panel. I would like to remove it and install a panel similar to this one. What do you suggest?

Unfortunately, this item is a panel kit only for use within certain Empire gas fireplaces; it is not suitable for use within a wood-burning fireplace. However, we do offer some universal refractory panels that will work for your wood-burning fireplace: One 24" h x 28" w Panel Two 24" h x 40" w Panels These panels are about 3/4" thick and can be cut down to the size you need with a masonry blade or tile saw. They are suitable for use as side, rear, and floor panels inside any wood-burning fireplace.

How high is this panel? I assume 36 in is width. I need 28" high for a 10 year old Martin FP.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not provide dimensional information on these ceramic liners, as they are intended for the specific line of fireplace mentioned in the title. The remains of Martin was purchased by Majestic Products and some of their fireplaces are just rebadged Martin products. If you are able to provide the model number of the fireplace, I may be able to find a suitable liner or one that can be modified slightly for your unit. Please advise.
