Can the fireplace be operated with the doors closed if the fresh air kit is installed? The manual say the doors must be open during operation, however the product photo shows the doors in the closed position during operation.

We apologize for the confusing photo; this is commonly done by manufacturers. We must advise, as the installation instructions say, that the fireplace should not be in use with the glass doors closed.

How much do these Empire Bi-Fold glass fireplace doors weigh? Do I need to have curbside delivery for them?

These bifold doors have a listed weight of 21 pounds. They are able to ship small parcel and will be delivered to you by UPS ground.
