These yellow bulbs work with several models including the DFI400LH, DFI400RH, and DFI600LH. Opti-Myst owners should replace blown bulbs immediately to prevent potential damage to their unit. Not replacing bulbs can prevent water from evaporating as designed and may cause pooling that will drip into the lamp-holder. You may also try replacing blown bulbs with working bulbs from the unit to ensure that the lamp-holder assembly is working correctly. It would also be a good idea to keep spares on hand to guarantee uninterrupted use of your Opti-Myst firebox.

What is the expected bulb life is of these?
These bulbs will generally last 2,000 hours, with a couple hundred hours of tolerance +/-. It is important to prevent oil contamination when installing them, meaning gloves should be worn when connecting to the socket base in the appliance and any contact with dirty surfaces should be avoided.
