Product Details
Now that you've decided to go with Empire's medium vent-free Loft or Innsbrook gas fireplace/insert, you must decide which surround you want to fit around your unit. This non-combustible, protective metal surround creates a seamless look for your fireplace opening. Its picture frame design encases the top and two sides of your existing hearth appliance. Choose between a 4" wide top with 3" wide legs or a 7" wide top with 4" wide legs to create the perfect contrast between your unit and wall surface. If you want to install your insert as a zero-clearance fireplace, Empire has a 4-sided custom option just for you.

Can you attach these surrounds to your fireplace without an insert?
We do not have surrounds designed to attach to a fireplace without an insert. We have mounted the surrounds to the insert that is installed inside the fireplace.
