Do you have a copy of the manual for this conversion kit?

The steps for converting from single-sided to see-through when using this kit are found on pages 13-14 of this installation manual for the VRL4543 fireplace.

Would this See-Thru conversion kit allow this unit to be installed as an indoor/outdoor application?

Both sides of the ventless system would then be open after using this conversion kit, so this could not be used to achieve an indoor/outdoor configuration. Additionally, no vent free systems may be installed in this fashion, so I recommend considering a direct vent model like the Superior 43" Linear Direct Vent Single-Sided Or See-Thru Fireplace - DRL4543TE. When the see through conversion along with the indoor/outdoor conversion kits are installed, this model may be installed in the exact configuration you want to achieve.

FMI Conversion Kit for 43" Linear Fireplaces - Single-Sided To See-Thru
Ordered this with a Paris lights fireplace. Conversion is really easy and it took me about 15 mins. I had some difficulty getting the side panels off, but I used a suction cup ( yes it was a plunger ;-) ) but it worked great and did not scratch the material... All parts where made to fit and the company shipped it quick and very well packaged
