I bought an FK24 to install in my Majestic 400dvbh fireplace. The blower backplate is a little over 15 inches long, the gap between 2 vertical slats in the back of my fireplace where the blower is to be mounted is only about 14.24" wide. Do I have the wrong blower?
    1 Answers
The BLOTSC is the correct blower for the 400 DVB.

Will this Majestic BLOT variable thermostat forced air fireplace blower work with model a 33LDVT RN fireplace as I think the FK12 and the FK24 are obsolete?
    1 Answers
Unfortunately, your model number was one that did not allow use of the BLOT. The FK24 is indeed discontinued, but the FK12 is still available and can be located here.

I have a Monessen Direct Vent CDVT36 Gas Fireplace and wish to add a blower. I'd like to get a recommendation for a quality Blower Kit. I noticed this unit has a Variable Thermostat but there is another that seems very similar but w/out a variable thermostat I think. Will either work in my unit, and is the additional money worth it?
    1 Answers
Both the BLOT and the FK12 are rated for use with your particular model of fireplace. The BLOT and the FK12 are both well made fans and will offer years of service. The convenience of the thermostatic operation on the BLOT is a nice feature, not only because of the hassle free operation, but because it always ensures that the blower cycles at the proper times. However, it boils down to personal preference between automatic and manual operation.

We have a HBDV300NV Monessean 33 inch direct vent fireplace. We would like a blower - who wouldn't? Is this the unit? Do you ship to Canada? USPS is fine, as is UPS.
    1 Answers
This blower is indeed compatible for use with this fireplace. This is the manual blower that does not tie into the signature command control system and will operate by a thermostatic switch and speed control. We can indeed ship this item to Canada, via UPS. A shipping quote will be provided to you upon adding the item to your online shopping cart.

Can I just purchase the snap-t-stat and/or rheostat control separately? How do I do that?
    1 Answers
Yes, but these parts must be special ordered from the manufacturer and will take 3-5 weeks to ship to you.

We recently moved into a condo with a small Majestic gas fireplace. Where do I find a model number so I can order the correct blower kit?
    1 Answers
Depending on your unit, there are a few places the manufacturer information may be located. The first location would be a metal plate that is on the left or right side of the smoke shelf bracket, right at the top of the fireplace front opening. The next place would be just on the inside of the opening, behind the fireplace screens on the left or right side. The last location would be in the void space underneath the fireplace floor. This can be accessed either through the front of the unit's louvers or through a removable floor panel underneath the bottom refractory.

I'm looking for a bower that would fit my fireplace. The box is old .What can i do?
    1 Answers
All of the blowers we offer are all brand specific. This particular unit is compatible with several Majestic and Monessen appliances. Due their specificity, we do not list individual blower measurements. The best course of action is to determine the brand and model of your fireplace and find the appropriate blower for it.

    Terrific Fan
This really is an amazing fan. What is quite remarkable is that it continues to move air around to cool down the fireplace after the flame has been extinguished.

    Very Quiet
This product is fairly quiet while it operates and it is fairly effective when it comes to maintaining a reasonable temperature. I am quite happy to report that it is definitely worth the money. At first I was a little disoriented when it came to basic operations, but after a while everything made sense.

    Great Safety Feature
I was so excited to get our gas fireplace, and when we bought it I didn’t want to spend any extra money on a blower. Well, I guess that was a mistake, because it didn’t take me long to realize that when the stove was on, the mantel got so hot you couldn’t even put your hand on it. I kept having to turn the stove off to keep the mantel cool enough, which was pretty frustrating and counterproductive. I should have bought this blower to start with. Now I don’t have to keep turning the fireplace off, and the blower gets the heated air where I want it—out in the room rather than soaking into the mantel! I was concerned about safety issues with the mantel overheating before, but since I got the blower, I never think about it.

    This Is a Have-to-Have
I found out after I put in my gas fireplace insert, the fireplace mantel would get so hot it worried me. So I did my homework and decided on this blower. It wasn’t hard to put in at all. I like the magnets that keep it where it needs to stay, and the foam strip is also a great addition. I also like the fact that it turns itself on and off. Here’s a tip, though—it works best if your power source is right beneath the fireplace.
