What are the actual dimensions and thickness of the 42-inch panel? Can it be cut into two panels, one 28 inches and the other 14 inches?
The 42-inch Napoleon Standard Westminster Grey Decorative Brick Panels have product dimensions of 22 inches W x 4 inches H x 27 inches D. Napoleon does not publish a separate thickness figure for this panel. Manufacturer installation instructions note that these panels are extremely fragile and must be handled with great care to avoid damage. As there is no manufacturer guidance confirming that a panel can be cut down or resized, we cannot confirm if cutting one into a 28-inch piece and a 14-inch piece would be successful. You can review the Brick Panel Installation Instructions for additional detail. For panels designed to be cut to fit for woodburning appliances, please consider options from MC Refractory. For cut-to-fit panels in gas fireplaces, Skamol panels are recommended.
