I ordered the frame kit and installed it as instructed. My problem is that the slots no longer reach the four posts it slides down on. There's a layer of 1/2" cement board and a thin wall tile on the face, which I believe is 1/4". Is there a separate part that allows it to extend?
We have reviewed the photos you shared, which show the finishing trim frame and the mounting posts extending through the cement board and tile buildup on the face. Napoleon does not provide detailed instructions for every specific installation scenario with this trim kit. Please contact the manufacturer's technical support at 866-820-8686. Reference your fireplace model number and this trim kit's part number (FTBL42BK). We apologize for any inconvenience.
