The Custom Firescreen Zero Clearance Tube Fireplace Heater is a neat way to make your fireplace safer and more efficient. This firescreen is pretty simple to pop into place, and it's built specifically for zero-clearance fireplaces, meaning it fits snugly without needing a ton of extra space. You can pick the size that works best for your setup, as it comes in a bunch of different options. Plus, it's designed to work with or without a blower, giving you flexibility in how you want to circulate heat. The low legs on this firescreen do a good job of helping air move around, keeping things running smoothly.

Please Note: This is the heater only, blowers and other components must be purchased separately.

The Custom Firescreen Zero Clearance Tube Fireplace Heater is a wood-burning tube heater designed for zero-clearance fireboxes. Fit is determined by the physical dimensions of your fireplace opening, not by specific manufacturer or model approval. We do not have compatibility data for Heatilator E39 or GR5 models. If your fireplace burns wood, please provide the front width, back width, depth, and height of your firebox opening, and note if it tapers towards the back. This information will help us confirm the correct sizing. As a general guideline, we recommend approximately 6 inches of clearance around the heater grate on all sides (front, back, and depth) before selecting a size. You can view the available sizes on the Custom Firescreen Zero Clearance Tube Fireplace Heater page. The installation instructions offer more details on setup.

Hi, I'm looking for a 3 or 4-tube fireplace grate with a blower kit. What are the dimensions of both so I can ensure it will fit?
Hi, I'm looking for a 3 or 4-tube fireplace grate with a blower kit. What are the dimensions of both so I can ensure it will fit?
Hi Anthony, The Custom Firescreen tube heater line starts at 4 tubes, so a 3-tube grate is not manufactured in any of our series.

The 4-tube model that includes a blower kit is the Spitfire. It measures 19 inches wide by 14 1/2 inches deep by 7 inches high, with a leg height of 1 3/4 inches. This model is constructed from 16 gauge aluminized steel tubing and comes with a 75 CFM blower kit that has 18 inches of flex tubing. The blower box is designed to sit outside the firebox and directs room air through the flex tube into the heater; the warmed air then exits through the open front ends of the tubes. You can view the full setup in the Spitfire installation manual, and the product page can be found here: Custom Firescreen Spitfire Tube Fireplace Heater.

The Zero Clearance heater you are currently viewing is also available in a 4-tube size. However, it is sold as the heater only, and its corresponding blower must be purchased separately: Custom Firescreen Blower Kit for FH and ZC Tube Heaters.

To ensure the best fit, please provide the front width, back width, depth, and height of your fireplace opening. Also, let us know if the opening tapers towards the back. A tube heater should not be installed as a tight fit; typically, we recommend approximately 6 inches of clearance around the grate at the front, back, and depth before suggesting a specific size.
