This is indeed the correct blower kit for the Quartz 36" fireplace. However, that remote will not offer control of the fan. There is no remote listed for use with the Quartz models that can also control this fan.

This is the correct blower, but only the most recent version of the Quartz series with Intellifire Touch has the option of controlling the blower with a remote.

This is indeed the correct blower and I recommend the Majestic Wireless IPI Remote Control - RCT-MLT-MAJ if you are adding this blower since this remote will not only adjust the height of the flame, but will also adjust the fan speed.

While this optional blower would not be correct for the SA36C, there is an optional variable speed control for the FK23 blower.
