This short, 6" flex line by Hearth Products Controls is rated as low-capacity. It has an inner diameter of 1/4" and an outer diameter of 3/8". It is made of incredibly durable stainless steel and comes furnished with 1/2" female pipe threads and 3/8" male pipe threads. Whenever you are installing a gas supply line, make sure that you tighten all of the connections securely and thoroughly test them for leaks before use of the appliance.

Can this be used inside the fireplace? Is it rated to withstand open flame temperatures?
This supply line is indeed able to be used inside your firebox. It is recommended to have it routed as far away from direct flame as possible, but it can stand intermittent contact.
