Does a 5 lb regulator installed indoors require venting to the exterior?

If I am understanding correctly, you are wanting to know if a propane tank installed indoors would require ventilation. If this is what you are asking, please note that an LP tank must be installed outdoors by a locally licensed plumber or your LP supplier and the tank location must follow both local and national code requirements. Since our expertise is limited to gas hearth systems and not the installation of any gas piping, you would need to speak with a locally licensed plumber or gas fitter to have many of your questions answered.
