What is the difference between b vent and direct vent?

Both varieties vent heat and by-products of combustion. The difference between them is efficiency and combustion air. B-Vent appliances draw combustion air from inside the home and are not very efficient. Direct Vent appliances draw their combustion air from outside the home and are significantly more efficient.
