Napoleon GD422R-1 Round Wall Termination Kit
Napoleon GD422R-1 Round Wall Termination Kit
Some gas ventilation systems end at the roof, and some end at the wall. This vent wall termination kit allows you to ventilate your gas appliance system without having to run a vent pipe all the way up to the roof. Instead, the vent passes through an exterior wall and offers proper ventilation with minimally invasive installation. The termination kit keeps the elements and unwanted critters out of the vent system, and ensures proper airflow to your gas appliance.

Napoleon RP5 Restrictor Plate For Aggressive Vertical Venting
Napoleon RP5 Restrictor Plate For Aggressive Vertical Venting
Does your Vector LV50N or LV50N2 linear gas fireplace have a problem with aggressive vertical venting? That is, does the chimney draft pull too strongly and quickly, negating or limiting the effects of the fireplace? If so, try our Napoleon RP5 Restrictor Plate. It is designed to reduce the chimney's draft, slowing the flow of air, and allowing more time for the flames and gas to heat your home, thus increasing the fireplace's efficiency and saving you money. Since it's made by Napoleon and designed to work with the LV50N and LV50N2 fireplaces, you can be assured of its quality.

Can the see through part of this Napoleon fireplace be made with something that can block looking in through the bedroom, maybe mirrors or a tent?
    By Will M. on February 2, 2016

This is not an available option, however, there is a single-sided version available.

By Jen from New York on December 29, 2016
What are the dimensions of the fireplace?

    By Will M. on December 29, 2016

Detailed dimensions are provided in this brochure.

By Karolina from Colonia, NJ on November 23, 2015
Can you tell me what the difference is between this Napoleon Vector LV50N2 see-thru direct vent linear gas fireplace and the Napoleon LHD50 Linear Series Gas Fireplace with double sided option? I have a wall where I could have a fireplace on one side and on the other in two separate rooms, but I would prefer not to have the see through option.
    By Will M. on November 24, 2015

The LV50N2 Vector series is basically the updated version of the LHD50 with the two sided option. The single sided LV50 is offered here.

By Kem from Charlotte, TN on November 16, 2016
What are the dimensions of this item (specifically length/width)?

By Lisa from Morris, IL on February 25, 2017
Can you change the color of the flame?
    By Tyler M. on February 27, 2017

No, this is a direct vent gas fireplace and does not have flame color effects as an option. However, there is a built-in LED lighting effect that does offer different colors, so as to create the illusion. Yet, the flames themselves do not change.

By Karolina from Colonia, NJ on November 7, 2015
Can this Napoleon Vector LV50N2 see-thru direct vent linear gas fireplace be installed in a hard to vent place with a power vent?
By eFireplaceStore on November 9, 2015

This unit can indeed be vented with a power vent system. The correct kit to use is the Napoleon PVAL50 Direct Vent Fireplace Power Vent Terminal Adaptor Kit, in conjunction with the Napoleon GPV Direct Vent Gas Fireplace Power Vent Terminal.

By Lynn from Boise, ID on January 1, 2016
What minimum BTU output will still have a nice flame to view? Will this Napoleon Vector LV50N2 see-thru direct vent linear gas fireplace run too hot in a 1000 square foot open-concept living room/dining/kitchen area?
By eFireplaceStore on January 4, 2016

Acceptable flame presentation will vary greatly, based on the size of the unit and type of burner. For example and output of 16,000 BTUs may look great in a small 32 inch fireplace, but not in a larger linear unit. An output of 35,000 to 40,000 is generally very good for a 45 or 50 inch linear model. Based on the actual A.F.U.E. output of this model, this would be great for your application.

By Carter from AL on January 25, 2017
What is the largest "viewable" area that can be created with an interior to exterior application? Can it be a direct vent gas?
    By Tyler M. on January 25, 2017
