Can the see through part of this Napoleon fireplace be made with something that can block looking in through the bedroom, maybe mirrors or a tent?

Can you tell me what the difference is between this Napoleon Vector LV50N2 see-thru direct vent linear gas fireplace and the Napoleon LHD50 Linear Series Gas Fireplace with double sided option? I have a wall where I could have a fireplace on one side and on the other in two separate rooms, but I would prefer not to have the see through option.

The LV50N2 Vector series is basically the updated version of the LHD50 with the two sided option. The single sided LV50 is offered here.

Can you change the color of the flame?
By Tyler M. on February 27, 2017
Answer:No, this is a direct vent gas fireplace and does not have flame color effects as an option. However, there is a built-in LED lighting effect that does offer different colors, so as to create the illusion. Yet, the flames themselves do not change.

What minimum BTU output will still have a nice flame to view? Will this Napoleon Vector LV50N2 see-thru direct vent linear gas fireplace run too hot in a 1000 square foot open-concept living room/dining/kitchen area?
By eFireplaceStore on January 4, 2016
Answer:Acceptable flame presentation will vary greatly, based on the size of the unit and type of burner. For example and output of 16,000 BTUs may look great in a small 32 inch fireplace, but not in a larger linear unit. An output of 35,000 to 40,000 is generally very good for a 45 or 50 inch linear model. Based on the actual A.F.U.E. output of this model, this would be great for your application.
