Can you use this to restore the inside and outside of a grill?
1 Answer
You may use it on the inside and outside of your grill. Just avoid spraying the actual grill rack or any other item that comes in direct contact with your food.
Does it cover white polymeric plastic? I have a ceiling heater cover I want to paint. It won't touch the heat. It's just the outside.
1 Answer
Most plastics will have a protective element already coating the product and I imagine this product would easily peel off of the cover. Typically, you would need to use some sort of paint with a bonding characteristic on any plastics like this one. In your case, you would still need a high heat one. We do not carry such a product.
This product can indeed be used inside a gas fireplace. It is likely that the original paint has simply aged and is no longer able to deal with the heat generated by the appliance. It is common for the interior paint to get a white, chalky appearance when it has seen a good deal of heat exposure.

How much will a 12oz can cover?
1 Answer
Coverage will vary depending on the material that is being painted and how many coats will ultimately be applied.
If you are looking for the most basic coverage of unpainted steel, using two coats of paint, this product should be sufficient to cover about a 2 x 3 area.

Exactly as advertised
It covers like any good primer+paint spray can. If you are going to paint a large surface, a second coat will seal the deal. Use like any other spray paint. I just revamped my 1997 gas fireplace fire box and it looks as good as new.
It responds as advertised.
