I mistakenly turned the fire off via the key to shut off the gas instead of using the remote, and the pilot light went out with the fire. The pilot light is now relit, but the remote only clicks and does not ignite the burner. How do I restart the fire?

Please check if the switch on the receiver (the black box the transmitter communicates with to operate the burner when the pilot is lit) is in the "Remote" position.  If so, please turn it to the "On" position and see if that ignites the burner.  If this doesn't work, please be sure that the batteries in the receiver box were also changed, as this is a common oversight.

Is this compatible with g9-30p on-off basic?
If the full model number of the burner is G9-30P, no, it will not work, as that is a manual safety valve system with no option to add a remote control.

How do you program the remote for the transmitter?
How do you program the remote for the transmitter?
After you have checked that the batteries in the remote and receiver are good, locate the receiver and there will be a small opening that says "learn" above it, Ensure burner system is off and completely cool.

Slide switch on remote receiver to REMOTE position. Use the tip of a pen or a wire clip to push the learn button and release. A beep will be heard. Then press and hold ON button on remote transmitter; a series of beeps should be heard. The remote system is now synced. Light burner to test.
