My Lyemance damper is stuck closed, how can I get it open again?
This can be caused by rusting. It is recommended that you manually open it at your chimney and clear any rust. Greasing the expandable arms may also prevent it from happening again.

About Lyemance

The Lyemance page showcases chimney caps and flue caps designed to protect your chimney from the elements and unwanted visitors. These essential components are for homeowners who want to ensure their fireplace and chimney system remains in good condition and operates safely. When considering which Lyemance cap is right for your home, think about the shape and opening of your chimney's flue. You'll want to ensure the cap you choose has a cross-sectional area that effectively covers the top of your chimney's opening, preventing rain, snow, and debris from entering. Equally important is how the cap fits inside the flue size itself, making sure it attaches securely and provides a proper seal without obstructing airflow.
