This fireplace has framing dimensions of 39 1/2" wide, 32" high, and 10 7/8" deep. The direct vent pipe required can be either 3" inside, 6" outside diameter flexible vent pipe or a 4" inside, 6-5/8" outside diameter rigid pipe (adaptor required).
The Sierra Flame 36" Langley can rest directly on the floor, provided that, if the appliance is installed directly on carpeting, vinyl tile or other combustible material other than wood flooring, the appliance shall be installed on a metal or wood panel extending the full width and depth of the fireplace.
34" clearance is required from the rear of the appliance to the back wall of the fireplace enclosure. 6" is required between the fireplace face and any sidewall in the room where it is installed. 36", as measured from the top of the physical fireplace top, is required between the appliance and the ceiling of the room where it is installed.
